| The owners of Alberta Skydivers
LTD. have been introducing first time jumpers to the sport
of skydiving for 20+ years.
We work closely with the Canadian Sport Parachute Association
(CSPA) to ensure we are providing the best possible instruction
available. All of our instructors have earned CSPA "Instructor"
ratings for the program they are teaching, plus a Coach
One or Two rating from the Coaching Association of Canada.
Expect the BEST, when you choose to make your First
Skydive with Alberta Skydivers Ltd!
Please
note: You must be 18 years of age or older (regardless
of parental consent) and under 230 lbs (104kg) for the
First Jump Tandem and Solo course. You must be under
190lbs (86kg) if you are shorter than 5'7" tall
(170cm).

| Your
Tandem Skydive requires you to read and sign a Waiver
of Liability.
- Suggested for the first time jumper who wants to
"check out" the sport in a risk-minimized
method. Only making one jump in your life? Experience
FREEFALL with a Tandem Skydive.
- Training video introduces you the skills you practice
during
the ground training.

Ground training with skill rehearsal before gearing-up.
-
One Skydive from 9,500 feet
AGL (12,500 ASL) approx. 35 sec freefall.
- You remain harnessed to your
instructor throughout the freefall and parachute flight
to the landing area.

You are provided with a jumpsuit,
helmet and goggles for your skydive.

| Your Solo Skydive requires
you to read and sign a Waiver of Liability. |
This
type of First Jump is designed for the person who wants
to learn to skydive - we strongly suggest taking a Tandem
Skydive if you want to check-out the sport first.
- 5 hour ground school with extensive on-ground practice
- Written comprehension test
- State-of-the-art student equipment
- One Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD) skydive
from 4,000 ft. The instructor initiates your main
parachute opening as you let go of the plane.
- Fall approx. 3 - 5 seconds before your parachute
opens.
- On-ground instructor provides instruction with a
one-way radio to help you fly and land your parachute.
- The Solo course requires
a 09:00am - 5:00 pm time commitment.
- Please
note: Solo skydiving requires you to make life-saving
decisions in a fast-paced, high stress situation.
Failure to make correct decisions may result in injury
or death.
